This role is evenings and weekends only and will include part time Coordinator duties.

Care Duties:

• Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including safer people moving and handling
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals and monitor client health.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.

Coordinator Duties:

This will be secondary to providing primary care to clients as these coordinator duties will be shared'

• Manage rotas and shift allocation/fulfilment
• Staffing levels maintenance
• rganise an manage updates to compliance and competencies
• Telephone support, including participating in on-call rota.

Requirements

• Willingness to work weekends and evenings
• Flexibility to work last minute shifts in case of cancellations.
• A good understanding of CQC expected standards and care delivery is essential.
• Previous experience in home care, or senior care is highly desirable.
• Be computer able and technology user
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is an advantage.
• Ability to perform moving and handling and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards clients.
• A valid driving licence is essential with access to a vehicle.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is beneficial but not mandatory.
• This position will require a background check and DBS screening.
